While Telelingua develops its own basic tools and numerous applications to automate the management of translation processes, the company also uses many tools that have become standards within the translation industry.

At each stage in the management process, we use the appropriate tools, such as translation memories, terminology management tools, language checking tools, file conversion tools, etc. This technology supports human skills in achieving objectives such as reducing costs and time frames, and improving quality.

We have a broad approach in this respect and we want to inform our clients that we use the tools and software that are most appropriate for them.

Translation memories

The translation process should be treated as an investment and therefore viewed in the long term. Each project is part of a whole and should not be seen in isolation. Translation memories are one of the support tools that optimize the management of translations from one project to the next. Factors such as being able to recover translations that have already been done, taking into account internal repetitions in documents, the consistency of translations and terminology, etc. all reduce costs and time frames, at the same time as harmonizing quality.

Besides the standard tools, we carry out research and development to improve the integration of these tools in the general workflow and create new applications which optimize file processing. For example, Telelingua is the first company to have developed a centralized translation memory system which can be accessed by numerous translators via the internet.
